The gold mine of Altai Gold is known locally as Altangadas. It is derived from the northern star Altan Gadaz, a Mongolian name.

Altan Gadaz is the northern star of the north hemisphere and is the brightest of all stars in Mongolia.

Altangadas gold mine is located on the west part of Mongolia at the Altai Province. A town known as Gobi Altai is merely half an hour drive away. The distance between Ulaanbaatar and Gobi Altai is approximately 950 kilometre.

The Project consists of a single mining license. The license covers an area of 7799 hectares and can renew up to 70 years.

The Shiirt Sharain has an exploration license and is planned for conversion to mining license by 2026. The mining license will be for thirty years, expiring in the year 2056.  The asset is located in Asgat soum of Zavkhan, Western Mongolia.

The size of the property is 7045 hectares and the region is characterized by a hill which stretch more than a kilometre where a gossan occurred over the hill. Major minerals such as copper are found aplenty in this gossanous hill. Other minerals found in this asset are gold, silver and zinc.
